Pump Packing and Valves
We have a full selection of compression packing manufactured from wide range of materials and constructions designed to meet specific customer requirements. The most common and preferred construction is “Multi-Lok Braid”.
Some of the items we stock are:
Braided from pure expanded PTFE yarn, provides a low friction finish and prevents leakage through the braid. It is most useful in slower shaft speed applications. Applications include packing of valves, vessels and pumps of corrosive medium in Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Food industry.
Temperature: 260°C (540°F)
PH : 0-14
Graphite filled PTFE fibre that offers low coefficient of friction, excellent thermal conductivity, speed capability, self-lubricant, heat and chemical resistance. Suitable for most chemical media.
Temperature: 285°C (550°F)
Shaft Speed: Up to 4500 feet per minute
SGC-3200-Standard Style. Braided from high purity flexible graphite yarn with high temperature inorganic Carrier. This is the standard style flexible graphite packing.
Construction: Interlock braid (except small sizes), for use in Pumps and valves, in wide range of temperature, pressure and chemical environment.
Temperature: Up to 850°F if fully expose to air; Up to 1800°F in steam
PH: 0 – 14
Shaft Speed: Up to 4000 feet per minute
Braided from high purity flexible graphite yarn with Inconel Wire insert.
Construction: Interlock braid ( except small sizes ), for use in valves, in wide range of temperature, pressure and chemical environment.
Temperature: Up to 850°F if fully expose to air;Up to 2000°F in steam
PH: 0- 14
Pressure: Up to 4000 psi
Braided from PAN carbon fiber yarns impregnated with graphite particles and special lubricants.
Temperature: Up to 650°C (1000°F) in steam
PH: 0 – 14
Braided synthetic fiber, PTFE impregnated and lubricated. An economical substitute for asbestos packing or PTFE packing.
Construction: Interlock Braid
Working Temperature: 500°F, Max.
Pressure: Up to 3000 psi
Shaft Speed: Up to 2500 feet per minute
