RTJ , RING JOINT GASKET

Style 811R Oval /812R Octagonal
These rings are manufactured in accordance with API 6A, ASME B16.20 and JPI-7S-23 used on ring type flanges per ASME B16.5, API 6A and MSS SP-44. These basic shapes are used in pressures up tp 10,000psi. The hardness of the ring should always be less than the hardness of the flanges to prevent flange deformation.

Style 813BX Pressure energized
The BX ring gasket differs from the standard Oval and Octagonal shape since it is square in cross section and tapers in each corner. They can be used in API 6BX flanges. BX is used on pressures up to 15,000 psi.

Style 814RX Pressure energized
The RX gaskets are similar in shape to the Octagonal but their cross section is designed to take advantage of the contained fluid pressure in effecting a seal. They are made to API 6A and are interchangeable with standard Octagonal rings.RX is used on pressures up to 15,000 psi.

Style 815 Bridgeman Ring Joint
The Bridgeman gasket is a pressure activated gasket for use on pressure vessel heads and valve bonnets for pressures above 1500 ps. The cross section of the gasket is such that internal pressure acting against the ring forces it against the containing surface making a self energized seal.

Style 816 Delta Ring Joint
A Delta gasket is a pressure actuated gasket used primarily on pressure vessels and valve bonnets above 5000psi. These gaskets are manufactured in accordance with customers requirements, drawings and material specifications must be supplied.

KAMMPROFILE STYLE GASKETS

Kammprofile is a composite gasket, which utilizes a serrated metal core with a soft facing material. The metal core is machined on each contact face with concentric serrations witch provide high pressure areas, ensuring that the soft coating flows into any imperfections in the flange even at relatively low bolt loads. The result is a gasket, which combines the benefits of soft cut materials with the advantages of seal integrity associated with metallic gaskets. Standard core materials are 4mm thick. Thickness of outer ring is 2 mm for Style DK2 and 1.5 mm for style DK3. Expanded graphite is the most common facing material used for Kammprofile gaskets.

Style DK1
Serrated metal gasket.

Style DK2
Serrated metal gasket with outer ring.

Style DK3
Serrated metal gasket with outer loose fitting ring.

METAL JACKETED GASKETS

Metal Jacketed gaskets are the most basic type of semi-metallic gaskets combining the high pressure suitability and blow out resistance of metallic materials with the improved compressibility of soft materials. Metal jacketed gaskets offer an economical seal where sealing faces are narrow and can be produced in a variety of shapes, making them a good option for heat exchanger jointing. Metal jacketed gaskets are suitable for following applications, Heat Exchangers, Exhaust gases, Valve bonnet gaskets and Narrow flanges.

Style DJ
Double Jacketed Gasket, used on high temperature and pressure applications or where corrosion problems may exist.

Style SJ
Single Jacketed gasket, used on applications where poor or pitted flanges exist.

Style SJC
Single Corrugated Gasket ( no filler) used mainly in valve application, small recess gap.

Style DJC
Double Jacketed Corrugated, reduced contact area, enhances compressive characteristics, suitable for uneven flanges.
