Durlon 9000 & 9000N

Durlon 9000 (Blue) & 9000N (White)

Durlon 9000 is designed for use in process piping and equipment in chemical, pulp and paper, food and beverage and other general industrial applications where resistance to highly aggressive chemicals is required. Available in un-pigmented white as style 9000N, both styles conform to FDA requirements. Various shapes of inorganic filler have been homogeneously blended with pure PTFE resins to give Durlon 9000 its physical and mechanical properties. It is suitable for use in steel flanges and will not exhibit the cold flow problems associated with virgin PTFE, or the hardn ess problems of some other filled PTFE products. Unlike generic glass fiber filled PTFE, the shape of the fillers used in Durlon 9000 do not allow wicking which can cause corrosion on flange surfaces. Durlon 9000 has achieved numerous certifications such as: USP Class VI, FDA and (EC) 1935/2004 & EU (10/2011) compliant, BAM oxygen service, TA-luft (VDI Guideline 2440), ABS & Pamphlet 95, the chlorine institute, DNV-GL (Det Norske Veritas—Germanischen Lloyd).
